Former Queen of the South goalkeeper Lee Robinson played as a trialist for Carlisle United in a reserve game on Tuesday and could be set for a move to Brunton Park.
The 27-year-old was a mainstay in the Doonhamers’ side that romped to the Second Division title and Ramsdens Cup last season before he moved to Ostersunds in Sweden.
His deal there has now come to an end and he has been given the chance to impress Carlisle after Mark Gillespie was injured and Ben Amos’ loan spell came to an end.
