Adam Rooney grabbed a first-half hat-trick as Aberdeen beat Daugava Riga 3-0 in Latvia on Thursday evening.
The result sealed an 8-0 aggregate success for the Dons, who now face Dutch side FC Groningen in the second qualifying round of the Europa League.
Derek McInnes' men have home advantage in the first leg on Thursday July 17, with the return match in Holland a week later.
The Aberdeen boss said: "The three goals were well worked and it was very clinical from Adam. Two of the finishes in particular were top quality. We asked the boys to be professional. It was a mature and competent performance - just what was required."
