Cowdenbeath have named Maurice Ross as their new manager following the recent departure of Gary Bollan after a poor run of results.
The former Rangers and Scotland defender has previously managed in Norway and the Faroe Islands and was also a coach at Motherwell.
Cowdenbeath are bottom of cinch League 2 and face leaders Kelty Hearts on Saturday.
Chairman Donald Findlay told the club website: "Maurice is a highly-regarded young coach and will bring a new approach to the club. He is determined to be successful as a coach and is very ambitious. I am convinced that this is the new start we need."
