Ayr United are closing in on the Ladbrokes League 1 title after coming from behind to beat Airdrieonians 2-1 at the Excelsior Stadium as nearest challengers Raith Rovers were held 1-1 by Arbroath at Gayfield. Stranraer kept their slim play-off hopes alive by beating Alloa Athletic 1-0 at the Indodrill Stadium. Stenhousemuir moved back into the top four with a 4-1 victory away to Edinburgh City. Play-off hopefuls Clyde lost 1-0 at bottom club Cowdenbeath and Elgin City slumped 4-1 away to Annan Athletic.
