Hamilton Accies midfielder Jonathan Routledge has signed on to be a New Douglas Park player for a fifth time.
The former Wigan Athletic 23-year-old first became an Accies' player when he joined the then SPL side on a loan deal in August, 2010 and his second stint came in February, 2011 when Routledge became a permanent signing after having his contract cancelled by the FA Cup holders.
When that short term deal ended 3 months later Routledge opted to return towards home when he joined Stockport County before completing a hat-trick of Hamilton moves in January, 2012 when he returned on loan until the end of that season.
Routledge just could not keep away and he signed for a fourth term last summer and he has now agreed another season in red and white colours with Accies Secretary Scott Struthers saying: “We are delighted to have Jonny back with us again. He has been a very popular player in his 3 years with us and we are sure he will be again.”
