Albion Rovers’ have lost striker Mark McGuigan back to Partick Thistle at the end of his loan spell however Manager James Ward is keen to have the 25-year-old back to help his side push for the League 2 title.
McGuigan has scored 5 times for the Coatbridge side since being converted to a wide right wing player as opposed to a centre forward and Ward said: “Mark knows that we are keen for him to come back here. He has enjoyed himself at the club and found a new position where he has been doing very well in.”
“He does not know what future he has with Thistle and once that is clearer we can have a chat about returning here.”
