Rovers look set to be missing Gaston again

Coatbridge goalkeeper still suffering from Gayfield knock

Derek GastonAlbion Rovers look set to be missing goalkeeper Derek Gaston when they host Brechin City tomorrow as he has still not shaken off the injury he picked up against Arbroath on August 6.

Gaston injured his knee in a collision with the Gayfield side’s Lee Sibanda, which he was ironically sent off for, only for referee John Beaton to admit downgrade Gaston’s challenge to a yellow card on appeal.

Rovers boss Paul Martin said, “Derek has still not trained fully since that game and he is obviously a doubt for the Brechin game and it may well be that we give him a break until after the international games are played.”
