St Johnstone boss Tommy Wright has signed midfielder Kyle McClean after he impressed on trial towards the end of last season.
The 18-year-old, who is in the Northern Ireland U21 squad to face Estonia this week, makes the move to McDiarmid Park after leaving Nottingham Forest.
Saints are back in action at the end of this month in the first qualifying round of the Europa League, the draw for which will be made on Monday June 19.
