St Mirren manager Tommy Craig has signed striker Callum Ball on a one-year deal, with the option of a further 12 months.
The 21-year-old scored a total five goals in the club's pre-season friendly matches against Blyth Spartans and Whitley Bay.
A former Derby County forward, Ball has also played for Coventry City, Torquay United and Notts County on loan.
