St Johnstone and Dundee drew 1-1 in Friday night's Tayside derby in the Ladbrokes Premiership at McDiarmid Park.
Kane Hemmings gave Paul Hartley's men the lead inside three minutes when he found the bottom corner from 25 yards but Tommy Wright's team equalised 10 minutes later when David Wotherspoon finished off a fine move with a shot that went in off the bar.
The point was enough to take Dundee above Hamilton Accies and into the top six while Saints remain in fourth place, two points behind Aberdeen.
