St Johnstone beat leaders Celtic 1-0 at Parkhead on Wednesday night to move into the top six in the Premiership.
The only goal came nine minutes after half-time when Danny Swanson gave Craig Gordon no chance with a stunning strike from 25 yards after a corner had only been partially cleared.
Celtic remain six points clear of second-placed Aberdeen after suffering their first league defeat since a 2-1 reverse at Tannadice on December 21.
Tommy Wright's Saints are now level on points with fifth-placed Hamilton Accies after claiming their first victory over Celtic since a 2-1 success at McDiarmid Park in September 2012.
