St Johnstone boosted their hopes of finishing in the top six with a 1-0 victory over Dundee United at Tannadice on Wednesday evening.
The only goal came three minutes after half-time when United keeper Radoslaw Cierzniak allowed Stevie May's long-range shot to slip through his hands and the ball ended up in the net.
In the night's other Premiership game, Inverness Caley Thistle and Hibernian drew 0-0 at the Tulloch Caledonian Stadium.
The point was enough to lift John Hughes' team into fourth place while Hibs are now four points adrift of St Johnstone in their bid to make the top six.
