St Johnstone are up to fourth in the Ladbrokes Premiership after beating Dundee 2-1 in the Tayside derby at McDiarmid Park.
Defender Steven Anderson opened the scoring after 62 minutes and Danny Swanson doubled their lead from the penalty spot.
Rory Loy pulled one back with a late penalty for Paul Hartley's side but it wasn't enough and the Dark Blues remain bottom of the table.
