A round-up of today's matches in the SPFL...

Queen of the South thumped Ladbrokes Championship leaders Ross County 4-0 at Palmerston to move into the play-offs, with Stephen Dobbie scoring twice to take his tally for the season to 32.

Second-placed Ayr United went down 1-0 to Inverness CT in the Highland capital while Dundee United are just three points off the top after beating Dunfermline Athletic 1-0 at Tannadice. 

Alloa Athletic made it six games without defeat to move six points clear of the relegation zone after hitting back to beat Morton 2-1 at the Indodrill Stadium. Bottom club Partick Thistle drew 1-1 with Falkirk at The Energy Check Stadium at Firhill.

Arbroath are now 13 points clear at the summit of Ladbrokes League 1 following their 4-1 success at bottom club Stenhousemuir while second-placed Raith Rovers were held to a 1-1 draw by Airdrieonians at the Penny Cars Stadium. 

Third-placed East Fife earned a 2-0 win away to Montrose and Forfar Athletic stay fourth after their 2-1 home victory over Stranraer. Brechin City scored right at the end to defeat Dumbarton 1-0 at Glebe Park and move level on points with their fellow strugglers.

Edinburgh City remain three points clear at the top of Ladbrokes League 2 thanks to a 4-0 win over Queen's Park at Hampden. Peterhead saw off bottom club Albion Rovers 2-0 at the Reigart Stadium and Clyde maintained their fine form with a 3-0 defeat of Berwick Rangers at Shielfield. 

Cowdenbeath leapfrogged Elgin City with a 4-1 victory at Borough Briggs and Stirling Albion edged out Annan Athletic 2-1 at Forthbank.
