Ryan Flynn scored a dramatic late winner as bottom club St Mirren beat Livingston 1-0 at the Simple Digital Arena to close the gap on Dundee to a single point. In the day's other Ladbrokes Premiership game it finished 0-0 between Kilmarnock and Motherwell at Rugby Park.

Dunfermline Athletic moved into the play-off places in the Ladbrokes Championship thanks to a 1-0 win over Queen of the South at East End Park with a Ryan Blair goal.

Ladbrokes League 1 leaders Arbroath suffered their first away defeat of the season as they lost 2-0 to in-form Dumbarton. Forfar Athletic are up to second spot after seeing off East Fife 3-0 at Station Park as Raith Rovers were held to a 2-2 draw at Stranraer. Bottom club Stenhousemuir earned a 1-1 draw with Brechin City at Ochilview despite having two players sent off while Airdrieonians defeated Montrose 1-0 in a mid-table clash at the Penny Cars Stadium.

Peterhead are now four points clear in Ladbrokes League 2 after beating Elgin City 1-0 at Balmoor. Clyde leapfrogged Edinburgh City to climb to second place thanks to a 1-0 win over the Citizens at Broadwood. Annan Athletic remain well on course for the play-offs after beating Queen's Park 2-1 at Galabank and Stirling Albion defeated Cowdenbeath by the same score at Central Park. Bottom club Albion Rovers were denied a second win of the season as Berwick Rangers equalised late on in a 1-1 draw.
