Leaders Arbroath could have clinched the Ladbrokes League 1 title if results went their way but they lost 2-1 to local rivals Forfar Athletic at Station Park and Raith Rovers trimmed the gap to 10 points by beating East Fife 2-1 at Bayview with two late goals. Montrose moved to within three points of the play-offs by seeing off Stranraer 3-1 at Links Park and Airdrieonians racked up a 3-0 win at Brechin City to keep alive their play-off hopes. The bottom four are separated by just three points following Stenhousemuir’s 2-1 success at Dumbarton.
