Aberdeen climbed to third place in the Ladbrokes Premiership thanks to a 2-0 win away to Livingston on Saturday. Ross County hit back to defeat Motherwell 2-1 at Fir Park and move level on points with the Steelmen while it finished 0-0 between St Mirren and Hamilton Accies in Paisley.

Lawrence Shankland scored a late double as Dundee United defeated Arbroath 2-1 at Tannadice to stay top of the Ladbrokes Championship on goal difference from Ayr United, who won 4-1 at Alloa. Third-placed Inverness CT beat Queen of the South 2-0 in the Highland capital and Morton are fourth thanks to a 1-0 victory over Dundee at Cappielow. Dunfermline Athletic ended their wait for a win, seeing off Partick Thistle 3-0 at Firhill to leave the Jags bottom of the table.

Raith Rovers moved to the top of Ladbrokes League 1 on goal difference with a 1-0 win against Airdrieonians at the Penny Cars Stadium while East Fife dropped to second after being held to a 2-2 draw by Dumbarton at Bayview. Falkirk are just a point off the pace following their 3-0 triumph at Stranraer and Forfar Athletic are fourth after beating bottom club Montrose 2-0 in a local derby at Station Park. Promoted pair Peterhead and Clyde drew 1-1 at Balmoor.

Cove Rangers remain top of Ladbrokes League 2 thanks to a 2-0 success against Elgin City at Borough Briggs. Edinburgh City stay second following a 3-1 win away to Albion Rovers and Cowdenbeath are third after a 3-0 victory over Queen's Park at Hampden. Stenhousemuir beat bottom club Brechin City 1-0 at Ochilview while Annan Athletic and Stirling Albion drew 0-0 at Galabank.
