Hibernian and Dundee United drew 1-1 at Easter Road, with the visitors equalising in stoppage time. St Mirren scored twice in the closing stages to maintain their good run with a 3-2 win over St Johnstone in Paisley. Hamilton Accies were 2-0 winners away to Ross County, whose manager Stuart Kettlewell has been relieved of his duties with the Staggies four points adrift at the foot of the table. Arbroath defeated Ayr United 2-1 at Gayfield to earn their first league win of the season and Alloa Athletic beat Inverness CT 2-1 at the Indodrill Stadium.
Montrose are up to second place in Scottish League 1 after seeing off Dumbarton 4-0 at Links Park while Peterhead upset the odds to beat Partick Thistle 1-0 at Firhill. Clyde enjoyed a 3-2 win away to Cove Rangers and East Fife beat bottom club Forfar Athletic 2-0 at Bayview. Leaders Falkirk are at home to Airdrieonians on Sunday.
Queen's Park remain five points clear in Scottish League 2 thanks to a 2-1 win over Annan Athletic as fans returned to Galabank. Second-placed Elgin City beat Stenhousemuir 2-0 at Borough Briggs and Stirling Albion stay third thanks to a 3-2 victory away to Edinburgh City. Stranraer put on a show for the supporters at Stair Park, beating Albion Rovers 4-0 to move into the play-off places. Cowdenbeath saw off bottom club Brechin City 2-0 at Central Park.
