In the Scottish Championship, Queen of the South earned a 3-2 win over Ayr United at Palmerston while Alloa Athletic and Morton drew 1-1 at the Indodrill Stadium. Dundee beat leaders Hearts 3-1 in the evening game at Dens Park.
East Fife beat Scottish League 1 leaders Falkirk 2-1 at Bayview and Cove Rangers are up to second thanks to a 1-0 win over nine-man Peterhead at Balmoral Stadium. Montrose drew 0-0 with bottom club Forfar Athletic at Links Park.
In the only Scottish League 2 game to beat the weather, Stranraer saw off Annan Athletic 2-0 at Stair Park.
A total of seven SPFL matches were postponed due to the freezing conditions and Stenhousemuir v Stirling Albion was abandoned.
