Rangers moved 23 points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership table with a 5-0 win over Ross County at Ibrox on Saturday.

Ryan Kent, Filip Helander, Joe Aribo, Ryan Jack and Connor Goldson were all on target for Steven Gerrard's side while James Tavernier had a penalty saved by Ross Laidlaw.

In the day's other top-flight match, Aberdeen saw off Motherwell 2-0 at Pittodrie to climb to third place. Tommie Hoban and Andrew Considine got the goals for the Dons against a Well side who had Liam Polworth red carded.

In the Scottish Championship, leaders Heart of Midlothian were beaten 3-2 by Raith Rovers at Tynecastle. Gozie Ugwu, Manny Duku (penalty) and Reghan Tumilty all netted for Rovers before a Liam Boyce double reduced the deficit. Second-placed Dunfermline Athletic drew 0-0 with Ayr United at East End Park and Queen of the South defeated Morton 2-1 at Palmerston.
