Round-up of today's games in the SPFL...

Celtic beat Aberdeen 1-0 at Celtic Park in the Scottish Premiership, with the only goal coming after eight minutes when an Odsonne Edouard shot deflected in off Tommie Hoban.

Third-placed Hibernian went down 2-0 to Motherwell at Easter Road, with Jordan Roberts and Devante Cole on target for the Steelmen in the capital.

St Mirren took another step towards securing a top-six place with a 1-0 win over Ross County in Paisley after Jamie McGrath’s late penalty proved decisive.

Kilmarnock ended their losing run with a 1-1 draw against Dundee United at Rugby Park. Adrian Sporle opened the scoring for the visitors but Zech Medley equalised for Killie.

Raith Rovers are up to second place in the Scottish Championship after hitting back to beat bottom club Alloa Athletic 3-1 at Stark’s Park, with Jamie Gullan sealing the victory.

Queen of the South continued their good run of results with a 1-0 win over Dunfermline Athletic at Palmerston thanks to a 50th-minute goal from Willie Gibson.

Arbroath’s fine run continued with a 1-0 success against Ayr United at Somerset Park, where Michael McKenna got the only goal. 

Dundee twice hit back to draw 2-2 with Morton at Cappielow.
