A late Andy Irving OG settled it after the home side had fought back from going two behind to a Connor Shields double. Raith Rovers beat Morton 1-0 at Stark's Park and it was the score in the Highlands as Inverness CT got the better of Arbroath. Bottom club Alloa Athletic drew 2-2 with Ayr United at the Indodrill Stadium. Dundee play Dunfermline Athletic this evening, live on BBC Scotland at 7.20pm.
Falkirk extended their lead at the top of Scottish League 1 to six points after beating Forfar Athletic 2-0 at Station Park, a result that dropped the Loons to the foot of the table. Second-placed Cove Rangers drew 0-0 at East Fife and Partick Thistle are up to third spot thanks to a 4-2 success at Airdrieonians. Peterhead won 1-0 at Dumbarton while it finished 2-2 between Montrose and Clyde at Links Park.
Queen's Park have a seven-point advantage at the summit of Scottish League 2 following their 2-0 victory at bottom club Brechin City. Edinburgh City are second after beating Stenhousemuir 3-1 at Ainslie Park while promotion rivals Elgin City and Stirling Albion drew 1-1 at Borough Briggs. It was also 1-1 between Cowdenbeath and Stranraer at Central Park and Albion Rovers and Annan Athletic at the Reigart Stadium.
