Heart of Midlothian received the Scottish Championship trophy after their 3-0 home victory over Inverness CT this afternoon. Robbie Neilson's side sealed the title earlier this month and a double from Gary Mackay-Steven helped secure a comfortable win on trophy day.
Dundee claimed a play-off spot with a 2-1 win against second-placed Raith Rovers and Dunfermline Athletic are also assured of a top-four finish thanks to a 4-3 success against Arbroath at East End Park. Morton remain in the relegation play-off place after a 1-1 draw with relegated Alloa Athletic at Cappielow while Ayr United and Queen of the South drew 0-0 at Somerset Park.
Brian Graham scored the only goal as Partick Thistle defeated Airdrieonians 1-0 at Firhill to move four points clear at the top of Scottish League 1 as closest challengers Falkirk and Cove Rangers drew 2-2. In the bottom-five fixtures, East Fife defeated Dumbarton 2-1 at Bayview while Peterhead saw off Clyde 3-0 at Balmoor.
Stirling Albion moved level on points with second-placed Edinburgh City in Scottish League 2 after a 1-0 win at Ainslie Park thanks to a Dylan Mackin goal. Champions Queen's Park were beaten 1-0 by Stranraer on Friday night. In the bottom half, Cowdenbeath were 2-0 winners against Stenhousemuir at Ochilview and Albion Rovers beat Annan Athletic 1-0.
