It was also 0-0 between Dumbarton and Queen of the South, which means the Sons have been relegated to League 2. Inverness CT and Alloa Athletic drew 1-1 in the Highland capital and Montrose were the only winners today, beating Annan Athletic 3-1 at Links Park.
Peterhead moved three points clear at the summit of William Hill League 2 thanks to a 2-1 success at Stirling Albion as East Fife’s 5-2 defeat at promotion rivals Edinburgh City saw them knocked off top spot. Elgin City are three points clear in fourth following their 2-1 triumph over The Spartans at Ainslie Park. Forfar Athletic are off the bottom at the expense of Bonnyrigg Rose after a 1-0 win at Stranraer while Rose went down 3-1 to Clyde at New Douglas Park.
