Dumbarton are up to seventh place in the Ladbrokes Championship following a 2-0 win over bottom club Alloa Athletic at the Indodrill Stadium. Mark Docherty and Grant Gallagher scored in the last 20 minutes for Stevie Aitken's side.
Dunfermline are now top of Ladbrokes League 1 after beating bottom club Brechin City 3-1 at East End Park. Faissal El Bakhtaoui, Michael Paton and David Hopkirk scored for the Pars, with Isaac Layne on target for the visitors.
Stirling Albion hit back to beat Elgin 3-1 at Forthbank in Ladbrokes League 2. Craig Gunn's penalty had City ahead at the break but Mark Lamont, Steven Doris and Darren Smith struck in the second half.
