Former St Johnstone midfielder Paddy Cregg is still looking for a new club after being released by the Scottish Cup winners at the end of the season.
The 28-year-old featured against Aberdeen in the semi-final win at Ibrox and was an unused substitute when Dundee United were seen off 2-0 in the final.
Cregg said: “It is funny how things turn out as my last game was a Scottish Cup final. It was disappointing to leave St Johnstone after such a high and their manager Tommy Wright said a lot of nice things when I left but I am still looking for a club.
“Apart from a short spell at Bury, and my youth days at Arsenal, I have always played in Scotland. Hopefully I can get fixed up before long as it is not great watching and not being involved.”
