Dundee United shocked hosts Rangers in the Third Round of the SFA Youth Cup at the weekend with a 3-1 success at Ibrox to knock last season’s runners up out of the competition.
Holders Celtic defeated Kilmarnock 5-0 with Hibs defeating Hearts 2-1 at Easter Road and Aberdeen went goal crazy as they saw off Gala Fairydean 14 – 0.
Livingston, who have made the semi-finals in the past two seasons were idle after the Peterhead team bus broke down en route from the North East to West Lothian.
