East Stirling are hoping to bring St. Mirren youngster Jamie McKernon to the club on loan in a bid to bolster their midfield.
The 20-year-old who has featured for the Saints’ first team twice spent last season on loan at Ayr United where he featured in 25 games.
Shire head coach John Coughlin said, “Jamie needs to be getting games under his belt and we need some drive and guile in our midfield so hopefully we can create a win-win situation.”
