Shire sweat over Miller injury

East Stirling hope that Miller can continue positive comeback

East Stirling are sweating over the injury that Ricky Miller picked up during Saturday’s goalless draw with Queen’s Park.

Miller limped off with 9 minutes to go with the Shire concerned about the ankle knock he picked especially as Miller is starring in a new role after a loan spell at Musselburgh juniors.

Miller played as a defender for the Shire since joining them in the summer of 2012 however Head Coach John Coughlin has had him playing in a more advanced midfield role.

Coughlin said: “Ricky has done well since coming back last month. He is doing well in giving us defensive cover as well as prompting attacks with some good passes.”

“Hopefully he does not face too long a spell out.”
