Sibbald heads Falkirk into final

Craig Sibbald grabbed the winner with 15 minutes left as Falkirk beat Hibernian 1-0 at Hampden to reach the Scottish Cup final.

The Bairns, still unbeaten against Alan Stubbs’ side this season, will face either Celtic or Inverness CT in the May 30 decider at the National Stadium.

Hibs looked the more likely team to win it but they were twice denied by the woodwork and Sibbald scored with a fine header from a Blair Alston cross to settle the all-Championship encounter in favour of Peter Houston’s team.
