Edinburgh City boss Gary Jardine has signed Dundee striker Ian Smith on a development loan until January.
The 19-year-old was previously with Hearts and now returns to the capital to link up with the League 2 side at Ainslie Park.
City are away to Morton in the Betfred Cup on Saturday.
