St Mirren have signed defender Liam Smith on a season-long loan deal from Heart of Midlothian.
The 21-year-old, who has just agreed a new contract at Tynecastle until 2019, has had previous loan spells with East Fife and Raith Rovers.
Buddies boss Jack Ross told the club website: "He's a good full-back, his use of the ball is very good and he's a good type as well. We've worked hard on it for a while so I'm delighted he's joined us."
