Arbroath striker Jack Smith, who suffered a bad elbow injury in training in early September, is only a fortnight away from returning to action.
The 20-year-old former St Mirren, East Fife and Morton forward had impressed in the early stages of his Gayfield career and scored against Queen’s Park in his second appearance.
Manager Allan Moore said: “Jack has been keeping himself fit but not getting involved with his team-mates - however that is set to change. He will start doing contact work this week and hopefully he will be good for a return in early November.”
