Stirling Albion midfielder Darren Lee Smith is expected to be out for another six weeks after a scan confirmed surgery is required to repair some minor damage to his knee.
The former Motherwell and Ross County player re-joined the Binos in the summer after two seasons with Stenhousemuir and scored three times during August but has been out injured since mid-October.
Assistant manager Martyn Corrigan said: “It’s disappointing news but it’s just a tidy-up operation that is needed so Darren shouldn’t be out for too long.”
