Dumbarton have moved into the transfer market for a striker for a second time in a week as, with Paul Maxwell from Glasgow junior side Ashfield following the lead set by former Hibs and Dunfermline striker Ross Campbell in joining the Sons.
Twenty six year old Maxwell is six foot two and scored twenty five times for the Saracen Park side last season. Everyone at Stratchclyde Homes Stadium hoping that Maxwell can fare as well as another former Ashfield player, full back Craig Brittain who played for eleven and a half seasons with the Sons before leaving in January 2009.
