Hearts have made Swedish striker Osman Sow their eighth signing of the summer on a two-year contract.
The 24-year-old, who spent last season with Crystal Palace, scored in the recent friendlies against East Fife and Manchester City.
Hearts boss Robbie Neilson told the club website: "I'm delighted to get Osman. He is a tall, athletic player who will add strength to our forward line.
"I've been impressed with him in training, and in the games he has played, and I'm very satisfied now with the attacking options I have."
Sow's signing follows the arrival at Tynecastle at the end of last week of former Rangers goalkeeper Scott Gallacher.
