Spartans have brought East Stirling’s attacking midfielder Michael Herd to the club to join his former Shire team-mate Iain Thomson.
Herd previously played with Whitehill Welfare and Arniston Rangers before joining the SPFL League 2 side in 2012 and he scored 6 times during his spell.
Ainslie Park manager Dougie Samuel reckons Herd will be his last recruit of the summer as he said: “Mickey’s arrival completes our new recruits for next season. We needed to add a new body after Mark Whatley left for Arbroath.”
“Mickey has excellent technical ability, good senior experience and can score goals from midfield.”
