League 2 leaders Arbroath travel to face Clyde on Saturday and manager Allan Moore is the latest to go under the SPFL Spotlight.
The 50-year-old played for Dumbarton, Hearts, St Johnstone, Dunfermline, Livingston, Airdrie, Partick Thistle, Morton and Queen of the South before moving into management with Stirling Albion, initially as a player/boss, in 2002.
What’s the best goal you have ever scored?
I don’t have a favourite as such but to score three headers in the one game was quite special. I never got a lot of headers but against Ayr United in a Scottish Cup quarter-final for St Johnstone back in 1991 I scored a hat-trick, which was pretty good going!
What is the best game you have played in?
That was for St Johnstone when we beat Aberdeen 5-0 at McDiarmid Park in September 1990 – it was an exceptional team performance.
What is your favourite away ground?
Celtic Park, even though my dad always told me to play poorly there! He was a regular at their games and every time I turned up he would tell me not to play well. At the start of the 1997/98 season Dunfermline went there and won 2-1 and I got Man of the Match. I am not sure he has forgiven me yet!
What is your favourite other sport?
I like to play and watch snooker. I used to play a lot on a Friday night to take my mind off the game on a Saturday.
Which player in the world would you like to bring to Arbroath?
Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi! If I had to choose one it would be Messi!
What is your favourite pre-match meal?
Always chicken and beans.
What is your favourite music?
I have a varied taste, ranging from Oasis to Kenny Rogers. Mark McNally, who was my assistant at Stirling and Morton, and I used to put the tunes together for the players.
Who was the biggest moaner you played with?
Paul Wright!
Who was your most skilful team-mate?
In a certain way, Sergei Baltacha - as he could ping a ball right to your toe from 50 yards away.
Who was your worst dressed team-mate?
There are so many to choose from but it will need to be Roddy Grant.
Who was the worst trainer?
Not as many to choose from this time but still Roddy Grant!
Who was the best dancer?
That has to be me!
Craig Stewart
