The SPFL is proud to join the other leading leagues across Europe in supporting the European Week of Sport (EWOS).
EWOS is run by the Sport Unit of the European Commission and is backed by the Association of European Professional Football Leagues (EPFL).
The aim of the campaign is to promote and encourage participation in sport.
The EPFL, and its member leagues, will be supporting the EWOS campaign through a variety of initiatives and activities from Saturday 23 September through to Saturday 30 September.
Sport plays an important role in Scottish society. The EWOS presents a great opportunity to reflect upon the excellent work undertaken by SPFL clubs in their local communities, promoting healthy living and encouraging people to get involved in sport.
