Craig Fowler selects his SPFL Team of the Week, which includes two-goal Dumbarton defender Craig Barr and Montrose hat-trick hero Lewis Milne, who is star man.

GK - Trevor Carson (Motherwell)
The Fir Park shot-stopper earned a clean sheet during his side's trip to St Johnstone. It will likely be between those two clubs for who is the best in the bottom six and Carson's saves frustrated the hosts' attempts to land the first blow.

DR - Alan Lithgow (Livingston)
The centre-back netted twice as Livingston managed to outlast Morton in a ding-dong, five-goal thriller at the Tony Macaroni Arena. The 3-2 result leaves Jim Duffy's men just outside the play-offs, with Livi on course for second spot.

DC - Craig Barr (Dumbarton)
Another two-goal defensive hero from the weekend, the former Raith Rovers man was instrumental in Dumbarton getting a confidence-boosting 3-2 victory over Dundee United. With five games left and an eight-point gap still remaining between the Sons and Falkirk, automatic survival still looks unlikely but they can generate some momentum going into the play-offs.

DC - David McCracken (Peterhead)
The centre-back impressed as the Blue Toon stayed just ahead of Montrose in the League 2 title race with a 3-1 win over Berwick Rangers. Peterhead are top on goal difference but Montrose have a game in hand at Cowdenbeath tonight.

DL - Stuart Findlay (Kilmarnock)
Another centre-half shoehorned into a full-back role in this team, Findlay netted the only goal as Kilmarnock won for the fifth game in a row - the only Premiership side to do so this season - defeating Partick Thistle at Firhill.

MR - Patrick Roberts (Celtic)
The winger, out for so long through injury, started for the first time since November as Celtic defeated 10-man Hamilton Accies at New Douglas Park. Roberts laid on the opener for Callum McGregor to score and was a thorn in Hamilton's side all game.

MC - Tom Beadling (Dunfermline Athletic)
Dunfermline fans are rather taken with their January loan signing from Sunderland, especially after his performance against rivals Falkirk at the weekend. The Pars left with a 2-1 victory after Beadling bossed proceedings in the centre of the pitch.

MC - Lewis Milne (Montrose)
The versatile midfielder scored his first career hat-trick as Montrose kept themselves level with Peterhead at the top of League 2 thanks to a 5-0 hammering of Stirling Albion. Milne's first goal was the pick of the bunch, a long-range beauty which put the visitors 2-0 up before the home side were reduced to 10 men. He is this week's star man.

ML - Jamie Murphy (Rangers)
Another in a string of impressive showings from the January loanee helped Rangers to victory over Dundee at Ibrox. His quick footwork helped set up Kenny Miller for the opener near the end of a tense first half and he later netted the third in the 4-0 triumph.

AM - David Milinkovic (Hearts)
Restored to the starting XI following a recent injury, Milinkovic made one and scored another as Hearts defeated Aberdeen 2-0 at Tynecastle. His pass for Steven Naismith at the opening goal was truly of the highest quality.

FC - Andrew Dallas (Stenhousemuir)
A debut double for the 18-year-old, on loan from Rangers, helped the Warriors to a convincing 4-1 win away at Edinburgh City. The result keeps Brown Ferguson's side a point ahead of Elgin and with two games in hand on the Moray men in the play-off race.
