Craig Fowler selects his SPFL Team of the Week, with Ross County’s Michael Gardyne the star man for his performance in the League Cup Final.

GK - Gary Woods (Ross County)
The deputy filled in brilliantly for starting County custodian Scott Fox with a number of top saves in the League Cup final victory over Hibernian. The pick of the bunch was a diving tip-over of a Liam Fontaine overhead kick that proved to be the last chance in the game.

DR - Shay Logan (Aberdeen)
Not just included for his winning goal, Logan was Aberdeen's star man in their 2-1 victory over Kilmarnock. The right-back motored up and down the flank all day long and got his reward with a close-range tap-in that keeps the Dons right on the heels of Celtic.

DC - Dougie Hill (Alloa Athletic)
The centre-back continually put his body on the line to repel Raith Rovers’ efforts as Alloa earned a draw at home to their play-off chasing visitors. However, they were robbed of all three points by a Kyle Benedictus goal in the final minute.

DC - Darren Dods (Brechin City)
The Glebe Park side looked in trouble at the foot of League 1 but have put together a run of three consecutive wins, with three consecutive clean sheets, to give themselves a real chance of survival. In the 2-0 win at Airdrie, player-boss Dods led by example at the back.

DL - Kieran Tierney (Celtic)
Another game, another top performance from Celtic's young full-back, who was recently called into the Scotland squad for the upcoming friendly against Denmark. He used that confidence boost to put in an eye-catching display in Celtic's 2-1 victory at Partick Thistle.

MR - Don Cowie (Hearts)
The January signing looks like he's achieving peak match fitness as he turned in a strong showing in Hearts' 1-0 win at Dundee. Cowie started in an unusual role on the right of midfield but he linked well with Jamie Walker throughout the match and caused the hosts a number of problems.

MC - Jackson Irvine (Ross County)
Named man of the match in the League Cup Final and it was easy to see why. Not only did Irvine provide an assist for the opening goal, he shackled Hibs talisman John McGinn effectively throughout.

MC - Grant Gillespie (Hamilton Accies)
If Hamilton are going to remain in the top flight they'll need Gillespie to be at top form and he returned to such standards in the 1-0 away victory over Inverness CT. Screening in front of the back four, Gillespie not only added an extra layer of protection but also helped his side greatly in possession.

ML - Michael Gardyne (Ross County)
Gardyne scored the first, set up the second and was at the heart of everything County did as an attacking threat. His energy and dynamism also helped off the ball as Hibs looked to dominate their top-flight opponents. At one point he looked certain to hobble off after going down with an injury, but he stayed on to sprint 70 yards before delivering the cross that was eventually landed at the feet of Alex Schalk to win Ross County their first major trophy. Unsurprisingly, he's this week's star man.

FC - Kenny Miller (Rangers)
Rangers have won all four games since leading scorer Martyn Waghorn went down with an injury. The latest side to be conquered were Morton on Friday night. Kenny Miller followed a man-of-the-match worthy performance against Dundee with two goals to down the Ton.

FC - Faissal El Bakhtaoui (Dunfermline Athletic)
The Dunfermline speedster netted goals 25 and 26 of this season to help the Pars defeat Ayr United 2-0 at Somerset Park and take another step closer towards the League title 1.
