SPFL weekend preview

There are no games in the Ladbrokes Premiership this weekend but there are key matches in the Ladbrokes Championship, League 1 and League 2…

Ladbrokes Championship
It's a curtailed fixture list in the Ladbrokes Championship because of the IRN-BRU Cup and leaders Ayr United have the chance to move seven points clear of Ross County when they face Morton at Somerset Park. Unbeaten Inverness CT make the long journey south to take on Queen of the South at Palmerston and there's a huge game at the Falkirk Stadium where a win for the Bairns would lift them off the bottom of the table at the expense of visitors Partick Thistle.

Ladbrokes League 1
Arbroath are still unbeaten and enjoy a 10-point advantage at the summit as they prepare to face local rivals Brechin City at Glebe Park. Second-placed Raith Rovers are away to bottom club Stenhousemuir while East Fife, who occupy third spot, are up against Airdrieonians at the Penny Cars Stadium. Forfar Athletic are fourth in the table going into Saturday's Station Park clash with Dumbarton. Montrose and Stranraer - who meet at Links Park - are separated by a single point.

Ladbrokes League 2
Leading pair Edinburgh City and Peterhead were due to meet at Ainslie Park but that game has been rescheduled for next month due to City's IRN-BRU Cup involvement. Third-placed Clyde will look to close the gap on the top two when they travel to Borough Briggs to play Elgin City. Kevin Rutkiewicz takes his Stirling Albion side to face former club Annan Athletic, who occupy the final play-off spot. Berwick Rangers host bottom club Albion Rovers at Shielfield bidding to increase their five-point lead over the Coatbridge side.
