Lex Gold was elected unanimously for the 11th time as Chairman of the Scottish Premier League.
He indicated that the process of succession planning was underway and that he expected to stand down in the autumn. Stewart Gilmour of St Mirren FC was also elected following his nomination to form part of the six-man Board of Directors.
Lex, Stewart, and the Chief Executive Neil Doncaster, will be joined by Rod Petrie (Hibernian FC), Duncan Fraser (Aberdeen FC) and Martin Bain (Rangers FC), who were all re-elected by the clubs to complete the SPL Board.
Campbell Christie (Falkirk FC) stepped down from the Board today after two years’ service.
Lex Gold, Chairman, said: "On behalf of the Board and the Clubs I would like to thank Campbell for his time and valued input during his term."
