Stenhousemuir boss Brown Ferguson has made former Dundee United player Ross Gilmour his 13th signing of the summer.
The 23-year-old can play in defence or midfield and moves to Ochilview after a spell with Albion Rovers last season.
He has also previously played for East Stirlingshire and Airdrie and now links up with the League 2 side ahead of their Betfred Cup opener against Queen of the South this weekend.
