Dumbarton have made striker Mark Stewart their second summer signing following the recent arrival of defender Andy Dowie.
The 28-year-old joins Stevie Aitken's side from Raith Rovers and can also count Falkirk, Dundee and Bradford City among his former clubs.
Dumbarton finished eighth in the Ladbrokes Championship last season and are looking forward to another season in the second tier of Scottish football.
