Celtic have moved to the top of the cinch Premiership table after beating Rangers 1-0 at Ibrox this afternoon.
The only goal came in first-half stoppage time when Kyogo Furuhashi fired the ball past Jack Butland from outside the area. Rangers earlier saw a Kemar Roofe goal ruled out for a foul in the build-up and they pressed hard for an equaliser but Brendan Rodgers' side held on.
Motherwell are level on points with leaders Celtic thanks to a 1-0 win over Heart of Midlothian at Tynecastle. Callum Slattery scored the goal in the first half and the Steelmen held on despite having Paul McGinn sent off for a second yellow card in 69 minutes.
Hibernian picked up their first league victory of the season, defeating Aberdeen 2-0 at Pittodrie with goals in the last 15 minutes from Adam Le Fondre and Christian Doidge.
