Sunday review

Celtic defeat Rangers at Parkhead, Dundee United win at Tynecastle

Celtic beat Rangers 3-0 in their first derby match of the season to move back to the top of the William Hill Premiership table, above Aberdeen on goal difference.

Daizen Maeda opened the scoring after 17 minutes and Kyogo Furuhashi doubled the lead for Brendan Rodgers' side shortly before half-time.

James Forrest came on as a substitute for his 500th appearance before Celtic wrapped up the win with a superb long-range goal from Callum McGregor in 75 minutes.

Dundee United are up to third place after beating Heart of Midlothian 1-0 at Tynecastle. Defender Ross Graham netted the only goal with 14 minutes of the match remaining.

Kilmarnock earned their first point thanks to a 1-1 draw with Hibernian at Rugby Park. Bruce Anderson converted a stoppage-time penalty after Joe Newell had put Hibs in front.
