Rangers booked their place in the last eight of the Betfred Cup, with Jermain Defoe sending them on their way to a 3-0 win over East Fife at the Locality Hub Bayview Stadium.
Aberdeen came from behind to defeat Dundee 2-1 at the Kilmac Stadium at Dens Park. The Dark Blues went ahead through Danny Johnson's penalty but Andrew Considine equalised in stoppage time and Sam Cosgrove won it in extra time.
