Hibernian became the first team to score against Rangers in the Scottish Premiership this season in a 2-2 draw at Easter Road on Sunday afternoon.
Drey Wright fired Hibs in front but Alfredo Morelos levelled before half-time and Scott Arfield gave the visitors the lead. Christian Doidge headed home the equaliser with 20 minutes left.
The draw was enough to take Rangers back to the top of the table, a point clear of Celtic who have a game in hand, with Hibs three points off the summit in third spot.
In the later game, Motherwell ended Aberdeen's winning run in style with a 3-0 triumph at Pittodrie. All the goals came inside the opening 22 minutes through Mark O'Hara (penalty), Chris Long and Bevis Mugabi as the Steelmen climbed to eighth in the table.
