A week in the sun has certainly helped Queen’s Park midfielder Giuseppe Capuano as he has started full training for the first time in four months following hip surgery.
The 22-year-old was sent out to join the Hampden club’s youth team on their 2 week training camp in Turkey earlier this month and the combination of decent weather and intensive treatment saw Capuano join in with head coach Gardner Speir’s first team squad this week.
Speirs said, “We had though that Giuseppe would not come back to the end of March, however the week in Turkey has brought things forward. We are all really pleased that the club forked out extra funds to get him over there.”
